Choose Norway for its Northern Lights

Winter in Norway provides the perfect backdrop for witnessing the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Venture into the Arctic wilderness on a guided Northern Lights safari. Chase the ethereal dancing lights across the vast Norwegian landscape, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1: Tromsø

Welcome to Tromsø, the largest city in Northern Norway! Embraced by snowcapped mountains, Tromsø boasts a vibrant atmosphere with a population of 65,000. Beyond its picturesque landscapes and rich history, the city is renowned for its sizable student community and is a hub for a thriving music and film culture. Take the opportunity to explore this self-proclaimed 'Gateway to the Arctic.'

A great starting point for your exploration is a ride on the cable car, whisking you up to a mountain ledge in just four minutes. The two gondolas, affectionately named Seal and Polar Bear, each accommodate 28 passengers. Once at the viewing platform of the upper station, bask in breathtaking panoramic views of Tromsø, along with the surrounding islands, mountains, and fjords.

For an intimate dining experience, consider staying for a private dinner at Fjellstua restaurant, perched at the summit, offering exquisite views.

On this dog sledding adventure, we will take you along the very trail that Finnmarksløpet follows each year. We want to show you the world where our family has challenged themselves and lived out their passion for dog sledding here above the Arctic circle. Post-ride, return to Savor a comforting meal at a traditional kota (Finnish shelter) before returning to Tromsø.

Day 3 : Reindeer Farm

Following breakfast in Tromsø, visit Tromsø Arctic Reindeer. Enjoy a 25 to 30-minute sledding ride as the reindeer guide you around the valley and along the coast. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to feed 300 of these magnificent animals before entering the gamme for a hot traditional meal cooked over the fire. Finish the day by gathering around the fire to listen to Sami history, stories and joiking (traditional Sami songs). You will also have the opportunity to admire the northern light after dinner.

Our guide will lead you through flat and slightly hilly terrain. We stop several times during the walk for photos and to provide you with information about our beautiful city and Arctic environment. The area is wonderfully scenic with birch and spruce forests and providing the opportunity to enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding island landscapes.
